By supporting entrepreneurs to start their business or develop their existing small company, we create more job opportunities. We also promote entrepreneurship in the townships through our different projects. A good example is that we have started with business hubs in the townships. These are centres in which office facilities can be used and training scan be received in for example, financial management or supplier management. These business hubs have an incubator centre and open office workspaces. Besides the business hub we have introduced our own fashion label of which products are made in several townships. We also have our own job agency. Our fashion label creates products such as clothes and seasonal products (Christmas, Easter, valentine’s day) for among others Woolworths, a large supermarket in South Africa. Our job agency offers interns to companies (after they received their skills development training) such as Discovery and Spar who can eventually hire the interns. We aim to develop entrepreneurs in the townships towards suppliers of our partners such as IDC, Philips, Absa, Experian, Discovery, Nozale, Woolworths, Spar and Powerratings.
